Instructions for
Installing into Systems with Windows 7, 64 bit
Recommended Way of Disabling Driver Signature Enforcement
1) Disable User Account Control (UAC)
- go to
"Start Menu" > "Control Panel" > "User Accounts and Family Safety" >
"User Accounts"
- click on "Change User Account Control settings"
- set the slider bar to the lowest value (Never notify) > click "OK"
2) Disable Driver Signature Enforcement
- Run
DSEO13b.exe with administrative privileges (Right click on deso13b.exe and
choose "Run as administrator") click "Next" > "Yes"
- Select
"Enable Test Mode" and click "Next" > "OK". This allows unverified
system files to be loaded.
3) Sign the PortIO driver
- select "Sign a System File" > "Next" > enter the path to the used
driver (eg. C:\AVR\USB) > "OK" > "OK"
4) Restart the
computer
5) Back to default
After
you enabled Test Mode and added signatures to the required system
files, they should bypass Windows’s driver signature enforcement and
load without any issues. However, if for some reason you are
interested to revert it, you can re-launch the application, choose
“Disable Test Mode” from the main menu, and reboot. If you encounter
issues or having questions, feel free to post it on our forums 360mods.net
